The Proof Correction Process
Authors are required to carefully check the proofs of their articles before publication. The purpose of proofreading is to correct errors that may have occurred during the production process, rather than to make substantial changes to the content of the manuscript.
Authors have the final responsibility for all corrections. Proof corrections must be returned to the editor within one week of receiving the proofs. Corrections may be submitted by email in the form of a clear and detailed list.
Once the corrections have been received, the article will be revised and subsequently published online.
Transliteration System
Authors may use the transliteration system adopted by the International Journal of Middle East Studies (IJMES) or the transliteration system used by the Ministry of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia.
For the purpose of simplification, the use of diacritics may be minimized as long as the accuracy and clarity of the transliteration are maintained.
